Economy
Las Vegas has a bustling economy attractive to newcomers. A main benefit is the low tax rate--in fact, there is no personal or corporate income tax in Nevada. Property taxes are also low, at about 1%. The expanding economy has created many jobs; further, Las Vegas is the most entrepreneurial city in America (according to Inc. magazine), as the new business success rate is higher here than anywhere else in the U.S.

Weather
Las Vegas enjoys a warm, four-season climate. Here is a table of monthly average high and low temperatures:

Local Government
The entire Las Vegas area is in Clark Country. The area consists of the cities of Las Vegas, North Las Vegas, Henderson, Boulder City, and unincorporated Clark County. Much of the area is actually unincorporated county, which is still referred to as Las Vegas and is the same in many respects.
